I covered up my personal information, but the box is sturdy and a decent size. I’m going to use it to hold my own make up because right now it’s everywhere. Also it shipped really fast. I think she sent them out Friday/Saturday and it got here today. It’s important to note the boxes ship towards the end of the month, and it’s nice to receive the box before the holiday.

Such nice handwriting!

A lovely thank you note with the theme for the next box. I really didn’t know what to expect in terms of theme, but I’m looking forward to “Toxic Ghost Town”.

Jewelry!

Jewelry!

I love the bracelet and the skeleton hands ring. The cord necklace with the little skull charm I’ll use for a large pendent that doesn’t have a home yet. I don’t know how often I’ll wear the bow ring, but it too is adorable. Jewelry is a win for me, totally stuff I’d wear.

E.L.F. products really don’t work with me, so the primer is immediately going in the giveaway. I do like lashes though. Makeup is kind of so so for me.

Love that it came in a little green bag.

Description reads: “Nevermore- Suitably dark, potentially maddening blend of absinthe, exotic spices, and ancient rich sandalwood to leave you wishing for ‘morrow nevermore. Handmade from scratch, these products are gluten, paraben, SLS, phthalate, and cruelty free! Product of Dreaming Tree Soapworks- www.dreamingtreesoapworks.com Distributed by Strange Omens- www.strangeomens.com” Absinthe is a strong note in this, obviously, but it’s mellowed out by the sandalwood. I believe the vial is fragrance oil, but it doesn’t specify. This was a really nice product for this box.

I’m really not familiar with gris gris, guess that makes this an educational opportunity? Made with Apple, Pomegranate and Hibiscus.

This tiny vial is full of grave dust and came in a little coffin box. I can’t help it, I immediately want to repaint the box, because…that’s what I do. I paint boxes… Anyways. This was also cool to get.

Information about sponsors who sometimes supply stuff for boxes and standard black nail polish that every box comes with. Overall, I liked this box. I like that it’s sort of an experiencee as opposed to just…stuff. I can’t wait to see what comes with a ghost town themed box. At first I was skeptical, but for the first box not bad, not bad.

Black Box Subscriptions accepts PayPal as a form of payment which I prefer. I hate when you have to enter all the crap and your whole life story.
